Since being founded in 1963, Pioneer Human Services has expanded from a single halfway house to a nationally recognized non-profit with 50 locations across Washington State. Pioneer provides an array of treatment, housing, job training and employment services for people who are re-entering society from prison or jail and those who are overcoming substance use disorders. Pioneer's mission is to empower justice involved individuals to overcome adversity and reach their full potential.

Pioneer offers affordable insurance available through Regence Blue Shield for you and your family including various options for medical plans, vision, and dental. Preventative dental is covered at 100%.
You are eligible to participate in the 403(b) plan immediately upon hire. To help you prepare for the future, Pioneer matches the first 1% of your salary dollar for dollar, and the next 5%, 50 cents to the dollar. This is in addition to the 3.5% that Pioneer already contributes regardless of your contributions. In total, if you take advantage of matching funds, Pioneer will contribute 7% to your 403(b) retirement savings plan!

Life insurance is an important part of any benefits suite. This protects you and your family from financial hardship. Pioneer covers the full premium for this benefit.
Pioneer also provides an employee assistance program (EAP). The EAP provides you and your dependents access to trained professionals and resources for assistance with personal and workplace issues and basic legal.
Pioneer offers you a Healthcare Spending Account and Day Care Spending Account. These are reimbursement accounts that allow you to pay for eligible out-of-pocket healthcare and day care expenses with pretax dollars.
One of the most important assets to you is the ability to earn an income. The disability plan is designed to replace a portion of your income if you are disabled because of a prolonged injury or illness. Pioneer Human Services covers the full premium long-term disability.
Pioneer offers tuition assistance for continuing education up to 100% for your approved Bachelor’s degree and up to 50% for your approved Master’s degree.
