Process Controls Administrator
Description
The PENTA Building Group is searching for a Process Controls Administrator to join our team in Phoenix, AZ!
The Process Controls Administrator will monitor and support daily Vista ERP operations. This position is responsible for supporting the Vista application and assisting the Process Controls Department team with analyzing existing processes and developing and releasing new or revised enhancements and procedures.
A PENTA Process Controls Administrator is also responsible for:
- Assist in the monitoring of the Vista Help mailbox and the assignment of incoming requests.
- Assist in resolving employee VP User Access and security issues.
- Offer support in identifying and resolving problems to project teams as they relate to:
- Pending change orders.
- PM Approved Changes.
- JC Change Orders.
- JC Cost Allocation.
- Progress billings.
- Subcontracts.
- Subcontract change orders.
- Add-on issues.
- Interfacing errors.
- Provide sample Subcontracts/PSA/POs to teams based on project specifics.
- Perform a project-level audit to assess the extent to which project management standards are being upheld.
- Assist teams with project setup, phase code setup, budget imports, contract item imports, contract item setup, bill groups, change order management, interfacing, progress billings, and allocations.
- Assist with process improvements by communicating observations such as trends, workflow bottlenecks, and employee struggles.
- Assist with the development of training material and the management of existing documents to ensure the most current versions are the only sources available to employees.
We trust that you have:
- Degree in Construction Management or Accounting
- Two+ years of experience using Vista by Viewpoint
- General knowledge of the construction industry
- Strong job cost and accounting background
- Basic understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Visual Basic (VBA)
- Basic understanding of Crystal Reports
- High competency with MS Excel
- Up to 30% periodic regional or local travel may be required.
