The Job at a Glance

As the Inventory Quality Specialist, you will perform essential functions acting as a liaison between our Fulfillment Center Inbound teams (Receiving, Putaway, Kitting, and Inventory) and Customer experience teams. You will be handling Salesforce cases from customer service. Working on a small, fast paced inventory control team you will have the opportunity to work on all inventory positions and gain a deep understanding of the operations of Parts Town. Inventory Quality Specialists are responsible for monitoring the Inbound WIP, resolving inventory discrepancies on receipts, including missing parts, Parts ID, incorrect quantities, mixed orders, and ROSD/Warranty processing. Our Inventory Quality Specialists play a key role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of Parts Town’s Purchase orders receipts. 

 

A Typical Day

  • Work closely with internal teams utilizing internal systems (K1, SAP, JIRA, Salesforce, Esker) to resolve inventory related receipt discrepancies to deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Exercise discretion in managing time to locate parts missing from purchase order receipts
  • Work closely with leadership tools on reoccurring issues and root cause resolutions.
  • Log Quality Issues and communicate trends to leadership teams
  • Resolving aged receipts in process and expediting purchase order processing
  • Monitor Inbound WIP for discrepancies, research and resolve
  • Trouble shoot deliveries to find PO, Pack slip, part ID, etc
  • Check and scan pack list to ensure proper procedures are being followed
  • Work closely with Inventory, OSD and Customer experience teams to research and resolve receipts impacting inventory accuracy.
  • Update Receipt notes, set appropriate flags (kit, Hazard,etc..) to drive correct routing for future receipts
  • Regularly count physical inventory to resolve discrepancies and confirm accurate quantities in inventory management system

  • You possess excellent time management and organizational skills
  • You are flexible to work late hours and overtime as needed
  • You have intermediate to advanced knowledge of High Jump, Syspro, and Exacta
  • You are able to operate all material handling equipment safely
  • You have the capacity to move around for long periods of time, lift parts up to 30 pounds, and utilize ladders when needed
  • You are willing to work 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. 
  • You have fantastic communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)
  • Able to perform cycle counts everyday
  • You are vehicle certified or willing to become certified to operate a forklift, cherry picker and reach truck on a daily basis
  • You have a passion for customer service and problem solving (we'll teach you the rest!)

The salary range for this role is $43,993.80 – $53,770.20 annually ($21.15– $25.85 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
