Description
Performs radiographic examinations. Performs the duties of Radiological Technologist or Radiation Therapy Technologist as needed. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Operates automatic equipment to develop film. Prepares room and equipment for patient. Loads and unloads film viewer. Delivers reports to pods, puts reports in jackets. Restocks rooms with essential supplies. Pick up clean linen, deliver soiled linen to drop off. Does QA/QC for X-Ray and Mammography. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Do not discuss patients and exams with vendor. Keep reports away from public eye. Be kind and considerate to all. Cover all names of patient jackets, reports. Do not show films or reports to patients. No unauthorized person allowed in tech area or patient room. Schedule board has last name only for exam and time. Only office personnel know what column is for
what exam.
 
Ability to speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail).  Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop-down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.  Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements
 
Minimum Education: High School or equivalent
Minimum Experience: 0-6 months
Preferred Experience: 6-12 months 
Required Certification: CA license in Mammo. Tech. ARRT, CRT, Fluoroscopy license, CPR
