The physician assistant or nurse practitioner is responsible for direct patient care in the clinic setting.  This would include examination and treatment of patients, recommendation, supervision of overall health concerns of the patient, and completion of all necessary paperwork involved in this process.  The PA or NP must hold a current California PA or NP license in good, be in standing.
