Grimsby Hyundai is looking for a team oriented, hardworking Painter/Prepper to join their team.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:
- Review repair orders before beginning work on vehicles.
- Analyze, assess and evaluate the exterior paint condition of various motor vehicles and select appropriate corrective action or method of repair.
- Identify and remove layers of sub-coatings by using abrasives, solvents or chemicals.
- Remove damaged bolt on parts using wrenches when required.
- Repair out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers.
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
- Ensure all vehicles scheduled to be painted are masked and covered.
- Repair the exterior of the vehicle with sanding, mudding, or any other blemishment repair techniques required to apply paint.
- Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
- Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
- Other duties as required by management.
What do you need to succeed?
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 3+ years of experience in Automotive body work servicing.
- Must have knowledge in the manufacturer's repair and refining process.
- Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
- Experienced in all aspects of used cars reconditioning.
- Experience in sanding, mudding and other necessary exterior body work repair techniques.
- Experience with cleaning chemicals.
- Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
