The insides sales rep will contact IFS customers to increase parts and service sales and to build better ties with those customers. The sales rep will contact customers in any market segment served by IFS, including trucking, agriculture, municipalities and others. Sales reps will manage an account base of about 250 customers and will actively call those customers on a regular basis. Some of the first year will be spent qualifying accounts and updating customer information but always our first goal is to increase parts and service sales by servicing the customers.

High School Diploma/GED. Strong customer service experience is a must. Prior industry knowledge of the products along with a technical background of the products sold and serviced is a plus.

Must be highly motivated, with superior communication and customer interaction skills along with good organizational skills. Solid computer skills are important. Telephone sales experience or outside sales  experience desired. Proficient in MS Office applications. Must have a strong sales orientation and have a mechanical aptitude. Must have the ability to work independently while thriving in a team based environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks and has a team work ethic.  


Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
