JOB SUMMARY: 

Responsible for general clerical and administrative duties within the parts department. This person will work with parts and service personnel and report directly to the Parts Operations Supervisor. Responsible for retrieving all paperwork and processing that accordingly. Responsibilities will include scheduling, tracking, and logging all training and vacations for parts and service personnel. This position will also be responsible for stamping, coding, copying, filing, and sending all accounts payable paperwork for the parts and service department, as well as handling all cash, check, and credit card transactions. They will have the responsibility of receptionist and other administrative personnel and any additional filing and administrative support as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three years of administrative experience in a parts/warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of Parts Department operations preferable.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service-driven atmosphere.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with all Microsoft Office software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and the abilities to exchange information both verbally as well as through written communication as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible. Lifting/Carrying 40 lb.
