JOB SUMMARY: 

This position will be responsible for prioritizing, monitoring, and tracking all maintenance and repairs for Growing CRS/ Heavy Rents fleets. The individual will work with Product Support staff to communicate rental department needs. This will help increase fleet time utilization while reducing variable expenses. The individual will assist the Rental Asset Manager in reducing fleet repair expenses and maximizing profitability on rollouts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Some college or CAT-related experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the equipment need necessary for a rental fleet, as well as a working knowledge of the operations, sales, service, and systems. 
  • Ability to organize and deliver basic rental training on products, operations, sales, service, and systems.

  • Strong Knowledge of Caterpillar and Allied products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic Understanding of warranty process and procedures (CAT/Allied).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and the abilities to exchange information both verbally as well as through written communication as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
