JOB SUMMARY:
Integral role working with an established team. Works with Power Systems group, Rental Store locations, and Product Support Sales Representatives using their input to develop and promote the use of Standard Jobs and Repair Options. Standard Jobs and Repair Options help to offer both consistent pricing and scope of work but also give our customers flexibility to choose which level of repair best suits their needs. Will utilize established software and resources to continue the development of Standard Jobs and Repair Options. Will also focus on developing Standard Jobs to support new and existing maintenance contracts.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and/or education combination related to parts and service repair, operations, or sales within an engine, equipment, or another related industry.
- Caterpillar or competitor product line knowledge is required.
COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be customer-focused, energetic, able to handle multiple tasks, organized and detail-oriented, and able to learn new technical material related to Heavy Equipment products and services.
- Strong computer and software skills are required.
- Strong understanding of generators and generator maintenance.
- Ability to support the selling of products or services preferred.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar Equipment, systems, and software preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
