JOB SUMMARY:
Work with our team to schedule and prioritize work performed in the Oakwood shop and field service work. Lead the shop service team to ensure an efficient, safe, and profitable operation. Will assist in providing customer quotes, reviewing work orders before invoicing, and taking phone calls from internal and external customers. Responsible for implementing company policies and business strategies on Equipment Builds, Equipment Service, and Field Service work. Supervise the day-to-day work schedule for technicians. Keep all rental equipment organized and ready to rent. Take customer service calls during work and after hours. Assist customers with service calls and schedule technicians for service calls. This includes after-hours service calls.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have three to five years of industry experience.
- Technical knowledge of HVAC equipment is required.
- Must have prior supervisory experience.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Must possess the ability to read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot advanced electrical circuits, understand all types of HVAC systems and how each component works, and help troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple work assignments and multi-task.
- Strong computer skills, verbal and written communication skills, and customer service skills are required.
- Must be able to prioritize work and technician assignments and work closely with other internal and external customers to ensure quality products.
- Must possess accountability, detail orientation, diversity orientation, a cheerful demeanor, loyalty, responsibility, and safety awareness.
- The ability to consistently exceed all relevant performance standards, foster teamwork, and generate top-quality work is required.
- Must be highly productive, innovative, and responsive.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
