JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Process daily stock and emergency orders for assigned branch locations and vendor product lines. Process and track misc. vendor and OEM rebates.   Researching and expediting open purchase orders and outstanding back orders and update the records with the expected date of receipt.  Assist and support other team members with updating part number suppressions, and part number messages on our business system. Will also be a backup person to assist when other team members are not available.  Research competitions parts offering and enter special pricing request to vendors as required.  Work with other team members to develop the parts sales flyers for related PSD product lines.  Review and update as needed our business system with the correct parts promotional pricing, parts sourcing codes, and other items required to ensure an accurate inventory and listing of part numbers and pricing on our business system.

Must be highly organized, a quick learner, willing to adapt to change and new programs/processes with a sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently and accurately. Candidate must be willing to learn new skills as needed to maintain efficient department operations. Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties while working with a diversity of individuals and/or groups.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED. ‚Äč Heavy duty truck parts experience preferred.  Supply Chain knowledge a plus. Proficient in Excel and overall computer skills desired.       

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. 

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
