Exciting Obesity Medicine Opportunity in Fairfield County, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)  
Danbury Hospital is seeking an obesity medicine physician to join our growing Metabolic & Medical Weight Management Program in our Newtown, Connecticut outpatient office, located one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County. Our program includes our Medical Director, staff physicians, advanced practitioners, dieticians and behavioral health specialists. Our program provides comprehensive evaluations and management of obesity as a chronic disease with a focus on health and wellness. We see both non-surgical and surgical candidates pre- and post-operatively.
Candidates must be board certified/eligible in IM, FM, or Endocrinology, and board certified/eligible in obesity medicine, and have experience/ expertise in the field of obesity medicine. This includes competency in the genetic, biologic environmental, social and behavioral factors that contribute to obesity and a thorough understanding of the treatment of obesity and related metabolic conditions.
