The Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition – APJ is a critical role responsible for shaping and delivering data-driven, business-aligned talent strategies and execution across the APJ region. The role is based in Singapore and reports to the Director - Talent Acquisition India and APJ based in Bangalore. This role partners closely with senior business leaders to anticipate talent needs, build robust pipelines for current and future growth roles, and lead a high-performing Talent Acquisition team across the APJ region with excellence and accountability.

Your Role

Business & Strategic Partnership
  • Develop a deep understanding of the APJ business, operating context, and market dynamics to proactively align talent strategies with business priorities.
  • Partner closely with senior business leaders as a trusted advisor, providing data-backed insights to influence talent decisions across functions.
  • Collaborate openly with stakeholders to co-create scalable and adaptable talent solutions in response to evolving business needs.
  • Cross collaborate with functional teams within APJ to deliver effective talent acquisition solutions.

 

Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
  • Design and implement innovative, multi-channel talent sourcing strategies to build strong and diverse pipelines for critical and future growth roles.
  • Lead quarterly talent acquisition planning, ensuring clear goals, disciplined execution, and consistent tracking to closure across the team.
  • Contribute meaningfully to regional and global strategic initiatives, demonstrating curiosity, flexibility, and a willingness to experiment with new approaches.

 

Operational Excellence & Metrics Ownership
  • Drive TA effectiveness through rigorous goal setting, metric-driven performance management, and continuous improvement of processes and outcomes.
  • Own and monitor effectiveness and efficiency metrics, using data to evaluate impact, inform decisions, and optimize results.
  • Ensure strong follow-through, accountability, and outcome ownership across all TA deliverables.

 

People Leadership & Culture
  • Inspire, coach, and lead a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, fostering engagement, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership.

What You Will Bring

  • 15+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience , with at least 5+ years in people management roles.
  • Deep specialization in Sales and Services Talent Acquisition within technology companies.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into talent strategy, grounded in strong commercial acumen, market intelligence, and workforce insights across APJ.
  • Demonstrated success building and executing data-driven, multi-channel sourcing strategies, creating sustainable pipelines for both immediate hiring needs and long-term growth.
  • Strong metrics ownership and operational discipline, with the ability to define success measures, track effectiveness and efficiency outcomes, and drive continuous improvement through data.
  • Experience leading quarterly planning cycles with clear goal setting, rigorous tracking, and consistent closure, ensuring accountability and strong follow-through.
  • A track record of being a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, influencing talent decisions with insight-led, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Exceptional people leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high performing, engaged teams through role modeling, feedback, and empowerment.
  • A growth mindset, demonstrated through openness to feedback, curiosity for new ideas, and willingness to challenge traditional approaches to improve talent outcomes.
  • Comfort working on strategic initiatives beyond day-to-day hiring, contributing thought leadership, innovation, and change agility at scale.

Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
