We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for preparing reconciliations, general administration, and month-end close relating to Accounts Payable. Wage: $26 - $27 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Essential Functions:                                       

  • Lead and audit the Accounts Payable operations
  • Review Accounts Payable integration integrity
  • GP batch approval
  • Provide deadline assistance as needed
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), MR, and Vena to research questions relating to Accounts Payable, and general journal entries
  • Provide support to internal customers via answers or assistance to general questions related to Accounts Payable, and the General Ledger
  • Prepare journal entries for accruals and coding corrections
  • Banking functions as needed
  • Wells Fargo Credit Card – administration, maintenance, monitoring, and integration batches
  • Out-of-Pocket Reimbursements – administration, maintenance, and integration batches
  • Divvy Credit Card – administration, maintenance, and monitoring
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing accounts payable procedures for operational functions to improve efficiencies and process controls
  • Provide training as needed
  • Ensure accounts payable procedures are documented and followed within the accounting department
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of information, including but not limited to personnel, accounting, and business-related knowledge
  • Assist the Accounting Manager with performance review, coaching and development, training, and scheduling related to the A/P position


Experience
:

  • AA in Accounting preferred
  • 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including General Ledger
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred
  • Microsoft Office 360 Experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills
