As a Sales and Marketing Intern, you will be at the forefront of Northwest Center’s growth initiatives. This role is perfect for a digitally savvy individual with a sales-oriented mindset, a penchant for curiosity, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations to drive impactful results.
 
Location: Renton, WA (Hybrid/Remote Available)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
Wage: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

This is an internship opportunity that will last until the end of August.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator expertly to identify potential leads, connecting with individuals and organizations that align with our mission.
  • Craft compelling and personalized outreach email and LinkedIn sales navigator campaigns that effectively communicate our story and mission.
  • Display a natural sales drive, keen on understanding customer needs and converting opportunities into successful partnership leads.
  • Navigate through market uncertainties with a sense of curiosity, adapting strategies to maximize outcomes.
  • Work closely with the sales team to define, document, and refine the LinkedIn Sales Navigator process, ensuring a consistent and effective approach.
  • Collaborate across teams to contribute to a sales culture that is dynamic, results-driven, and aligned with our social purpose.
 
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
  • Strong foundational sales skills and a proven ability to be proactive in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • High level of digital literacy with the capacity to quickly learn and utilize new sales tools and platforms.
  • An inquisitive mindset and the resilience to navigate through market ambiguities and challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Demonstrated passion for social impact and commitment to the Northwest Center’s mission.
 
You Will Stand Out If:
  • You have experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or a demonstrated ability to leverage digital platforms for lead generation and sales.
  • You bring a track record of creative problem-solving and innovation in a sales context.
  • You have prior experience or a passion for working in the non-profit space, demonstrating an alignment with social enterprise values and mission-driven work.
