We are now hiring a Corporate Sponsorship Manager!

Our Corporate Sponsorship Manager will play a critical role on our development team, working to drive Northwest Center’s growth by establishing and nurturing corporate partnerships. This role will cultivate and steward partners, negotiate and fulfill sponsorships, and manage donor pipelines and portfolios. They will also work collaboratively within the team to support our fundraising initiatives and events.
 
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM
Wage Range: $28.85 - $33.56

Essential Duties:
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partnerships and donors
  • Creating sponsorship proposals, negotiating agreements, and ensuring sponsorship deliverables are met
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate prospects through research and outreach
  • Manage a portfolio of donors for engagement and retention
  • Managing stakeholder relationships to build relationships and ensure negotiations net the most value 
  • Prepare compelling proposals, reports, and presentations for corporate partners
  • Marshalling and directing sponsorship efforts
  • Coordinating major campaigns and key events
  • Overseeing event management to ensure sponsorship-related activities are executed smoothly
  • Work closely with Northwest Center internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality stewardship of corporate giving, including reporting, recognition events, and publications
  • Collaborating with the Development team on fundraising initiatives and campaigns
  • Support Special Events and work closely with our Special Event coordinator to provide support and planning
  • Represent Northwest Center’s mission with genuine passion and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate donor and activity records in the organization’s CRM system
Qualifications
  • 3 + years of successful fundraising experience with a focus on developing corporate partnerships in a non-profit setting
  • 1 + year(s) of experience creating and negotiating sponsorship proposals
  • Professional experience utilizing Salesforce for nonprofits
  • Previous experience soliciting major gifts preferred
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices in development, including moves management and corporate solicitation, cause marketing, event planning, and corporate partnerships
  • Demonstrated personal leadership coupled with dedicated team orientation, exemplary project management skills, and a high customer service focus
