HR Manager
Description
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to manage the complete HR agenda and lead a 2-member team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the management team in the Czech Republic, while also engaging in daily communication with the international HR team across multiple regions (RO, USA, IN, SK, N).
You will be responsible for leading and implementing both local and regional HR projects and overseeing three key areas: HR Operations, HR Business Partnering (People Care), and Learning & Development (L&D).
Key responsibilities:
- Monitoring changes in labor law – managing internal global policies, creating guidelines, and implementing new global rules and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with all audits.
- Driving and supporting change management initiatives within regional and global HR projects, ensuring smooth integration of new processes, tools, and organizational changes.
- Leading the standardization and harmonization of key HR processes, ensuring alignment with global standards and supporting the implementation of best practices across all regions
- Performance Management: Monitoring employee performance across the company, administering and communicating processes, and reporting.
- Monitoring and enhacing employee motivation and retention, turnover and cost analysis.
- Supporting managers in compensation, evaluations, and coordinating with international teams, while preparing HR reports for top management.
- Ensuring equal treatment, inclusion, and diversity according to ESG standards.
- Managing payroll records and processes in collaboration with an external payroll provider.
- Overseeing reward & recognition programs (work anniversaries, performance evaluations, Ness Star Team program).
- Adapting global HR initiatives for the local market.
- Managing a two-member HR team, including performance management, compensation, training, and task coordination.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Education: University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: At least 3 years in a similar HR role (HR Manager, Senior HR BP, etc.) in a global company. Ideally has led transformation and change management initiatives, as part of integration programs.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing a team.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Mindset: Proactive, decision-making ability, and strong problem-solving skills in interpersonal matters.
- Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor law.
- Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to branches in Brno and Ostrava (approx. once per year).
- Systems: SAP HR and payroll system knowledge (is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written).
