Requirements and responsibilities
A typical day will be spent working within a team of skilled developers, product owner and testers to deliver high quality software critical to our music business which is continually being shaped by advances in technology. Each team is currently working within the Scrum framework in two week sprints however we are not dogmatic about our approach, we release as and when stories are complete so some days the teams will make multiple releases to production.
We advocate continual improvement and learning at both team and personal level, there will be many opportunities for training, knowledge sharing and to switch teams and projects as our applications grow and evolve with the business needs.
We are looking for developers with experience in our current tech stack listed below but most importantly we are looking for passionate developers who love learning, love solving problems and love being in an environment that supports this.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in code reviews with their team-mates. Running reviews will guarantee the structure and design of the applications follow the standards and guidelines.
- Document and assist in defining functional and technical requirements of different applications.
- Evaluate new frameworks and tools that can be integrated into the existing applications without breaking previous implementations.
- Assist in the development of a new application and solve issues as they appear.
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET (C#).
- Develop integrations between backend services, databases, and Sitecore components.
- Participate in architecture discussions focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
- Work with Sitecore content delivery (CD) and content management (CM) integrations.
- Troubleshoot application issues by analyzing server logs and performing necessary server updates.

Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Back-End Developer working with .NET / .NET Core.
- Strong knowledge of C#, RESTful APIs, ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework), Microsoft SQL Server and SQL language, including database design, writing queries.
- Experience in working with Angular is a plus.
- Practical experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation/CDK, RDS, S3, etc.).
- Experience integrating or working with Sitecore or other CMS applications
- Experience with Git and development platforms such as GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps Pipelines, etc.).
- Understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, OWASP basics).
- Knowledge of microservices or modular backend architectures is a plus.
