Senior Quality Assurance Engineer 
Nasuni Ireland is hiring a Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Cork. Join our Cloud Services Engineering Team, working hybrid in our Cork office, creating and enhancing cloud native services that provide next generation Hybrid Cloud Storage solutions.

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will:   
  • Use Python to create Automated Testing Tools.  
  • Participate cross-functionally as part of a productive team using agile practices
  • Liaise with peers to understand the additions and changes to the cloud services
  • Work with the team and stakeholders to outline the test functionality required to deliver the software
  • Define and document a testing strategy
  • Write and execute test cases, automated and manual test cases and other documents required
  • Report test result and data point via key metrics
  • Isolate and analyse defects providing detailed steps and/or conditions for reproduction
  • Capture bugs and track to closure
  • Support infield defect resolution where necessary
  • Support automated reporting and insight into the automation suite and tooling
  • Continuously improve on the test process and practices via recommendations
  • Assist with the requirement analysis, risk evaluation and test cycle definition
  • Research how to test functionality optimally and present findings to the wider group
Below is some of the knowledge and experience that will help you succeed in this role:  
  • Practical experience in a software test role with automation as a whole or part of the focus
  • Practical experience with python testing using pytest or an equivalent testing package
  • Practical experience in developing test frameworks using standard tooling
  • Practical experience in automated test development for cloud services
  • Familiarity with testing in the AWS and/or Azure environments
  • Familiarity with testing systems written in containers using cloud-based services like AWS, ECS, EKS, Fargate and/or Azure App Service, AK
Nice to Have experience and exposure 
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification in Software testing or Automation Testing
  • AWS and/or Azure certifications
