The Manager of Internal Operations plays a critical role in supporting MyEyeDr’s offices by developing, maintaining, and operationalizing processes, tools, and communication that improve consistency and efficiency across the field. This role is deeply field-facing, serving as a trusted partner and problem-solver for Operations teams while driving scalable solutions across the organization.

This position requires a highly organized, proactive self-starter who can independently manage multiple workstreams, translate field challenges into actionable improvements, and ensure initiatives are executed smoothly from concept through field adoption.
Reporting to the Sr. Program Manager, Internal Operations, this is a hybrid-remote role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.
You Will
- Lead strategic operational programs end-to-end, including project planning, communication, execution, and reporting/follow-through.
- Spend time in field offices frequently to identify and analyze process gaps as well as capture the field team’s feedback and needs. Based on the outcome, also oversee the implementation of updates being made.
- Act as field advocate for processes, metrics, measurements, and tools developed for the management of the business.
- Ensure projects/initiatives have a clearly defined purpose including valuation and connection points to MyEyeDr.’s Vision and Purpose.
- Serve as cross-functional partner to other departments during development and implementation of strategic projects. Ensure cross-functional initiatives can be operationalized in the field.
- Increase the effectiveness and productivity of MyEyeDr. by bringing clarity and strategy to action plans and field partnerships.
- Assist with the cascade of enterprise communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Regularly interact with field leadership and senior management as needed on strategy, planning and operational execution.
- Identify unmet or under-served needs of the company and drive best practices and operational improvement initiatives with the leadership team.
About You
- Bachelor’s business degree in Business Administration or related, or the equivalent combination of education, experience and skills.
- 2+ years of retail management experience or related field.
- Previous MyEyeDr. field/office experience preferred.
- Ambitious, self-starter able to multi-task and effectively manage priorities and able to reprioritize as necessary to align with current business objectives
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently without missing key deliverables
- Detail-oriented and thorough, with an ability to think big picture
- Adept at translating information into insights that drive quantifiable business impact
- Ability to build relationships, lead through influence, and collaborate across teams.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and personal accountability.
- Must be able to travel as needed, up to 50% of role.
- Must maintain uninterrupted internet connection.
