The purpose of the Flexo Machine Minder is to produce world class printed labels with the focus on productivity, cost, quality and safety. To ensure the quality and service expectations of our external and internal customers are met within quoted performance expectations.
The Role
In this exciting and varied role, you will:
  • Responsible for the printing process on a Flexo narrow web press to specifications and standards of quality, throughput and efficiency.
  • Assuring maximum production volume in accordance with machine specifications.
  • KPI target 100% Material and Labour Conversions and a cost-effective approach to all print work.
  • Preventative maintenance on the machine.
  • Quality driven and attention to detail. 

 

The Person
To succeed in this role you will: 
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified Roll Label Machine Minder
  • Minimum 5 years print production experience
  • Vibrant, motivated and goal-orientated individual with a proven performance-, punctuality- and attendance record.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Sound computer literacy.
  • Be a team focused individual.
  • Problem solving skills
  • Quality focused and attention to detail
