About you
Drive profitable Segment sales in the UK & Ireland and pursue wider European opportunities in partnership with the EMEAA End Segment Expert/Leader and GKAM team. Expected performance is 3% above market growth, including winning new accounts across T1–T5 spend categories.
Lead and manage all Segment sales activity to deliver year-on-year growth, support site KPI achievement, and build strong, long-term customer relationships. Act as the link between customers and internal teams to ensure timely, effective delivery of solutions.
Execute the Segment Growth Strategy with the Regional SLT, guiding site and sales teams to position the business competitively, including regulatory and compliance alignment. Manage your team through the full business development cycle—from research and prospecting to sampling, quoting, value proposition development, and onboarding—while coordinating with estimating, design, customer service and production across multiple sites.
Your primary objective is profitable sales growth within the Segment; your secondary objective is identifying wider MCC label opportunities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement the Segment sales strategy.
- Set and deliver revenue targets and budget plans.
- Grow profitable sales through both organic and new business
- Improve customer satisfaction and KPI performance.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships within key accounts.
- Provide insights on changing customer needs and market trends.
- Reduce sales costs by working with Procurement and Operations on CI/lean initiatives. Achieved through effective coaching and skill development of the sales team.
- Take ownership for assigned projects and work towards achieving Business Development goals for the year.

What You Bring
Must-Haves:
- Business development management experience.
- Ability to manage end-to-end new business processes with accuracy and deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise and work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong ambassador and team player for MCC.

- Experience working in print.
- BA/BS degree
- Sector knowledge in two or more Segment sub-markets
