Description

We are looking for a career-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Park Commons Apartments, a 174-unit property located in Valley Park, MO. We are seeking a hand individual who loves fixing things, takes pride in keeping things in running order, and has a sense of urgency.  Maintenance Technician is responsible for getting apartments ready when candidates move out for new moves ins, on-site maintenance calls, preventative maintenance and other project and grounds work as needed.
 
WHAT WE OFFER:      
 
$22.00 on up an hour
- Up to $3,000 a year in Quarterly Bonuses

WHAT WE NEED:      
 
  • Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition needs 
  • Maintaining property grounds
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
  • Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members on a rotating basis
  
WHAT YOU NEED:      
 
  • 1+ years’ experience in maintenance
  • EPA Certification Preferred
  • Dry walling including painting and carpentry
  • Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
  • Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
  • Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers
    and garbage disposal
  • Water heater knowledge both electric and gas
  • CPO Certification preferred
  
A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
