We have an immediate opening for a Sales Manager, based in the MMGY EMEA headquarters, London.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with a strong understanding of the travel & tourism industry and knows how to inspire and lead high-performing sales teams.
 
As a Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in building new business, managing client and advertiser relationships, and championing our programmatic solutions across the UK market.
 
This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years’ experience in programmatic advertising, strong client-facing skills, and a passion for helping brands maximise the value of data-driven digital media. While prior experience working with travel brands or within the travel sector is an advantage, it is not a requirement.
 

  
What you'll do:
 
  • Generate commercial growth for TravelDesk across the UK.
  • Utilise sales experience and industry connections to increase awareness of TravelDesk and consistently meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Present TravelDesk capabilities and deliver compelling persuasive, pitches, proposals, and product presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities to support TravelDesk’s growth strategy.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with direct clients and marketing stakeholders as well as media agencies and programmatic teams.
  • Advise new clients on programmatic strategy, encouraging omni-channel and multi-market activations via TravelDesk, adding net new logos into the MMGY Global client list.
  • Collaborate with internal account management, operations, and programmatic strategy teams to ensure successful campaign delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and advance existing and prospective opportunities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the value of TravelDesk’s products and solutions as well as competitive offerings and articulate TravelDesk’s benefits in a manner meaningful to the customer.
 
What we're looking for:
 
  • Must be a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment where initiative and innovative thinking are actively encouraged.
  • 2 - 4 years’ sales experience in digital and programmatic advertising.
  • Experience working with travel brands, travel retail, or tourism sectors preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic eco system, auction dynamics, audience targeting, and campaign measurement.
  • Proven track record of exceeding ad revenue targets. 
  • Commercially focused with excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills as well as having the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and marketing personnel.
  • Highly organised and methodical in approach.
  • Must be proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Curious, growth-minded, and committed to staying up to date on programmatic trends, ad-tech innovations, and industry standards.
