We have an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive in our Overland Park, KS office. The ideal Senior Account Executive must thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, have exceptional organizational skills, have a proactive attitude, be adept at managing priorities, a skilled problem solver and have excellent people skills. Internally, the Senior Account Executive is responsible for mentoring junior-level staff and assigning the day-to-day tasks in support of their career growth.

 

Responsibilities: 
  • Manage the execution of client presentations, including the contributions of other channel leads
  • Draft campaign and project briefs and lead internal project kickoff meetings
  • Document internal/external communication and disseminate among relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Support the development of and monitor client media plans, ad production, fulfillment and reporting
  • Participate in projecting agency revenue through the tracking of opportunities/impacts on the evolution of client business and reconcile actuals against projections on a monthly basis
  • Negotiate and monitor the use of resources against project estimates to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Review client burn reports, identify discrepancies and make recommendations to adjust as needed
  • Meet or exceed personal organic revenue growth goals as assigned by team leadership
  • Leading team meetings, client conference/status calls
  • Participate in the development of AC/AE enrichment plans as well as progress assessments; Mentor and provide professional guidance to AC/AEs
  • Present client deliverables, including project plans, estimates, timelines, creative and more; partner with other channels as needed
  • Manage cross-functional teams and external agencies in all phases of integrated campaign development, including innovation, ideation, consumer research and insights, and creative execution
  • Track account financials, update team income forecast for all channels with newly approved projects/SOW income every month
  • Merchandise agency work to foster client confidence and inspire other teams internally

 

Skills/Qualifications: 
  • 3 - 5 years of Account Management experience in advertising or related field 
  • Thorough knowledge of integrated marketing channels including media, web, social media, PR, experiential, print, creative and CRM
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated able to inspire a sense of urgency for self and teammates
  • Ability to problem-solve, balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including leadership roles
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, reliable and great energy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google business applications
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and respect
  • Exhibits discretion with confidential information
