(Marketing) Account Executive - Bilingual (English & Spanish)

We are looking for a Bilingual (English & Spanish) Account Executive in our Overland Park, KS office. The Account Executive plays a key role in the management of the client relationship by collaborating with the client and agency teams on the development and execution of all creative campaigns and individual client projects, whether assigned by client and/or other agency partners.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
General Account Management Responsibilities - All Levels
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the travel industry, client business, advertising industry/channels and agency process
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings as assigned
- Establish and invest in cross channel agency relationships
- Serve as final stage of agency QA for work completed by agency
- Identify opportunities for organic growth
Account Executive Role Specific Responsibilities
- Facilitate the progression of agency work though MMGY’s workflow process. Demonstrate command of agency workflow tools including, but not limited to, Workamajig, Jira, Basecamp, Slack, etc
- Actively participate in the creative routing process to ensure deliverables are met and that work meets expectations
- Document internal/external communication including meeting notes, project updates and client/estimate approval and disseminate among relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
- Compile competitive and secondary client research in support of agency work and client updates
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including attendee invitations, agendas, location reservations, production of materials for distribution, AV and other miscellaneous logistics
- Develop internal and client facing meeting decks
- Draft project briefs and lead internal project kickoff meetings
- Present client deliverables, including project plans, estimates, timelines, creative and more; partner with other channels as needed
- Verify vendor documentation such as estimates, invoices, insertion orders, specs, placement schedules for accuracy
- Support the development of and monitor client media plans, ad production, fulfillment and reporting
- Review client reporting for accuracy and clarity and identify opportunities to optimize agency efforts against account campaign strategy
- Request project invoices in accordance with approved estimates and SOWs
- Confirm client accounts payable status weekly and follow up with clients on all outstanding invoices to secure payment. Elevate all outstanding invoices in excess of 90 days to AS/AD/GAD for assessment
- Lead internal team meetings, client conference/status calls
- Mentor and provide professional guidance to account coordinator
- Be accountable to project financials
Qualifications include:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in advertising or related field
- Native/Bilingual Proficiency in English & Spanish
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing in English and Spanish
- Results oriented, self-motivated able to inspire sense of urgency for self and teammates
- Must thrive in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- Exhibits discretion with confidential information
