TravelDesk is a travel focused media partner delivering world class multi-channel campaigns for travel and tourism companies worldwide. We combine travel specific experience with proprietary data and extensive distribution options to help our travel-sector clients deliver on their business and marketing objectives.     
     
We have an immediate opening for a Performance Analyst in our Overland Park, KS office. The Performance Analyst will leverage data analysis and reporting tools to assist in the development and management of dashboards, data and insights visualisation, as well as optimization tools for programmatic campaigns run by TravelDesk. The Performance Analyst must possess a fundamental understanding of media, programmatic advertising, data analysis and visualization as well as having excellent written and communication skills. The role will help to drive efficiencies through platform expertise, data visualization, accurate reporting and automation.     
    
Duties & Responsibilities     
    
  • Assist with building and maintaining ‘client-facing’ campaign performance Tableau dashboards     
  • Collect and analyze data from multiple sources and translate into insights for the TravelDesk team and clients     
  • Work with TravelDesk team on ad hoc reporting requests     
  • Coordinate data connections in performance reporting     
  • Lead client/campaign analytics meetings, presenting insights and recommendations derived from multiple data sources     
  • Collaborate with TravelDesk and MMGY Global teams to collect requirements for dashboard builds     
  • Establish and adhere to internal deadlines     
  • Work with the TravelDesk teams on custom client dashboard builds and PPT presentations from data produced from advertising campaigns.     
  • Research latest technology and trends on data visualization best practices and communication     
  • Responsible for maintaining ad hoc datasets     
  • The role will also assist the TravelDesk team with client website analytics tracking implementation, development of marketing measurement and creative tagging strategies.    

    

Skills & Experience Needed     
    
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Finance or similar     
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge (SQL experience is a plus)     
  • 1-2 years of business analytical work, specifically data visualization software experience; Tableau specific experience preferred     
  • Awareness of client business issues, industry trends, consumer trends and media landscape     
  • Knowledge of key digital/analytic tools/platforms: Google Ads, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Social platforms, Adobe Analytics, etc.     
  • Comprehensive understanding of metrics: Media (e.g., impression, GRP, CPV, CVR, ROAS etc.) and Measurement analytics     
  • Independent worker eager to demonstrate personal accountability     
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills     
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
