What we are looking for:

As a Cloud Software Engineer at Meltwater, you'll play a vital role in building cutting-edge social solutions for our global client base within the Explore mission. We're seeking a proactive, quick-learning engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. 

Meltwater development teams take full ownership of their subsystems and infrastructure, including running on-call rotations. With a heavy reliance on scripting languages (Python or Go Lang preferred). Good theoretical knowledge of basic programming principles. Docker Containerization., Terraform Puppet & K8 Experience with Devops Principles & knowledge of Serverless architecture.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to push the boundaries of our technology stack, from modifying open-source libraries to innovating with existing technologies. What You'll Bring:

• 8+ years working experience.
• Leadership experience as tech or team lead (2+ years)
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent degree or demonstrable experience
• Experience (2+ years) with scripting languages (Python or Go Lang preferred)
• Good theoretical knowledge of basic programming principles
• Strong (5+ years) knowledge of Docker Containerization
• Strong (5+ years) knowledge of Puppet
• Strong (5+ years) knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) development
• Strong (5+ years) knowledge of Serverless architecture
• Strong (5+ years) working knowledge of Terraform
• Strong (5+ years) working knowledge of AWS Services, including:
• VPC/EC2
• Networking, routing, load balancing
• Lambda
• Autoscaling
• ECS/EKS/Fargate
• S3
• CloudWatch
• Strong (5+ years) understanding of DevOps principles
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions good to have)
• Containerization and Orchestration
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• Observability (e.g., Logging and Monitoring)
