What We’re Looking For:
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience who thrives in multi-technology environments. You should be a versatile engineer with proven expertise across multiple tech stacks, particularly Python and Node.js, who can rapidly adapt to new technologies and drive architectural decisions. This role demands a senior-level professional capable of bringing exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering teams.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you will be working to meet the functional and scalability requirements of our products. We offer total ownership of your team's products and your day-to-day will be jam-packed with opportunities to learn new technologies and grow as an engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience in Architectural Design, Problem solving & Troubleshooting across multiple technology stacks
- Design and implementation of backend systems using Python, Node.js, and emerging technologies
- Accountable for all aspects of your work, from research and analysis to testing and deployment in production as well as on-call rotation.
- Developing features with high quality design and code.
- Strong hands-on experience in coding & debugging.
- Investigate & resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration
- Write code that your peers praise for its elegance and readability
- Participate in all aspects of the software development process
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with demonstrated versatility across multiple programming languages and frameworks
- Strong expertise in Python with experience in frameworks like Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar
- Proven experience with Node.js and TypeScript for backend development
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Elastic, MongoDB, DynamoDB, RDS, Redis)
- Experience with Serverless Frameworks and/or K8s
- Demonstrates effective leadership skills and the ability to deliver results.
- Willingness to commit a significant amount of time to develop skills across Digital platform technologies.
- Bring energy and passion to your work, be versatile and collaborative in style, empathetic in nature, confident in content and focused on outcomes at all levels in the organization.
- Helping Junior developers in development & coding & Testing
- Experience with building and running applications in production utilizing serverless technology.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Good hands-on experience in Python and Node.js backend development.
- Experience with GraphQL is an advantage
- Hands on experience in Aws cloud technology.
- Strong in problem solving, coding & debugging.
- Experience with Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Experience with ElasticSearch is an advantage
- Experience with Agile software development and working within defined project management methodologies and timelines
- Experience with 3rd party API development

- Additional programming languages beyond Python and Node.js
