What we offer

The Master Data Specialist will be responsible for the timely and accurate core data management of the pre-construction activities to support the business operations.  The role plays a crucial role in ensuring the data is available for our internal departments to ensure a positive experience for our customer experience and construction operations. 

What you’ll do

  • Provides ownership for the master data for pre-construction activities within JD Edwards and drives alignment of set-up processes. Responsible for the maintenance and consistency of existing master codes and descriptions for all homeowner and trade facing materials.
  • Supports the Design Studio in the identification, pricing and sales set-up of new products, material and processes that will better suit the home market.
  • In partnership with Sales & Marketing and Design, determine and enhance pre-planned options (PPO) and extras offerings.
  • Liaise with Architecture to ensure complete and accurate data is received and ready for input prior to sales launches.
  • Resolves problems and concerns related to upgrades and options sold.
  • Performs other duties as requested in support of overall data maintenance & support.

What you bring

  • Degree or Certification in Information Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science or Similar Field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience working with data management specialization
  • In-depth knowledge of data retrieval, data scrubs, and overall data-management.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude required.
  • Self-motivated, prioritizes tasks and works independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong analytical ability required to accurately compare and contrast multiple data sets
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to prepare and analyze budgets and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and verify multiple data sets and transform it into usable feedback.
  • Perform data integrity and quality audits regularly.

Bonus points

  • Experience working with JD Edwards platform
  • Knowledge of retail operations a strong asset.
