Status:                        Part-Time Seasonal, Non-exempt


Primary Objective:  Responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of game day events and non-baseball special events.

 Essential Functions:

  • Assist with the execution of events in coordination with operations, support staff and any relevant departments and stakeholders. Maintain channels of communication and distribute information.
  • Meet with ballpark clients and assist in determining event needs including conducting facility site visits. Maximize profitability through efficient planning.
  • Assist the Ballpark Operations Department through event planning process; provide excellent customer service, quick thinking and problem solving.
  • Assist with managing event execution including coordinating vendors, managing deliveries, and enforcing setup timelines. Execute projects, and room and event space set-up with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Direct the work of event staff during events.
  • Serve as Ballpark representative at events; enforces T-Mobile Park practices and procedures throughout each event and maintains a commitment to safety standards.
  • Support all programs and initiatives of the Mariners Way and maintain a culture where Team Members strive to create exceptional experiences for all guests.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Sport Administration, Hospitality, or Business Administration. Equivalent, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, if approved by management.
  • Previous event or venue management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Social Tables and Smartsheet preferred.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office required (MS Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.) Able to learn new software programs and systems.

  • Willing and able to work long/flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

 Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. (Computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone, performing clerical functions)
  • Accessing office and work areas
  • Must be able to access assigned locations in T-Mobile Park including navigating concrete stairwells, ramps and concourses.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays including baseball and non-baseball events.
  • Must be able to frequently move up to 30lbs. independently, and 50+lbs. with assistance.
