Description

  1. JOB SUMMARY

Carry out floor maintenance tasks in accordance with pre-determined protocols in compliance with established policies and procedures as assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel as required.

  1. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, shampooing, extraction, stripping and refinishing of hard surfaced floors.
  2. Report damage or abuse of property, maintenance concerns and any fire or safety hazards.
  3. Move furniture.
  4. Ability to handle various floor cleaning machines and chemicals, ensuring safety of self and others.
  5. Perform housekeeping duties and special projects as assigned
  6. Must be able to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous Hospital Environmental Services Floor care 

Required Interpersonal Skills:

Maintain commitment to excellent customer service.

Must be able to read, speak, write in English & follow oral/written instruction.

Exhibit professional appearance.
