We are looking for highly energized, motivated, and team-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist (Medical Technologist) to join our team. You will enhance the patient experience by performing clinical laboratory testing pertaining to patient care and diagnosis. The Medical Laboratory Scientist (Medical Technologist) will practice in a renovated Lab with state-of-the-art equipment. Under the general direction of the Supervisor, the position is responsible for delivering prompt analysis of collected specimen with accurate and reliable results. Must possess appropriate licensure necessary to perform clinical laboratory testing. Training and performance improvement activities are also integral parts of this position.

Work Hours/Shift:
Full-time evenings, full-time nights, and PRN available
You will be responsible for:
  • Acquiring and updating knowledge pertinent to policies, specimen collection, test procedures, and instrumentation
  • Demonstrating technical expertise necessary for accurate and reliable performance of testing in all applicable areas of the laboratory
  • Performing patient, quality control, proficiency, quality assurance testing and required documentation processes timely and accurately
  • Assisting in inventory control and research and development of new tests
  • Playing an active role in Education and Performance Improvement activities
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned
What will you need?
  • Bachelor of Science per CLIA 88
  • MT/MLS (ASCP) or eligible
