We’re looking for you.

The Pharmacist is responsible for staffing night shift in the hospital Pharmacy. The LMH Health Pharmacy serves a 170 bed facility and associated ambulatory and physician clinics. The Pharmacist works collaboratively with providers, nursing, and ancillary departments to meet the needs of our patients and community.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety of the medication use process.
• Accurately and efficiently process medication orders.
• Medication reconciliation and management.
• Facilitate transitions of care.
• Facilitate medication use in critical settings (Code Blue, Code Stroke).
• Precept pharmacy students on APPE/IPPE rotations and oversee employed interns.
• Serve as a drug information resource regarding mediation use.
• Actively engage in professional development to maintain current skills and knowledge of clinical standards of care.

Qualifications

Required:

• Kansas Pharmacist License.
• PGY1 residency or equivalent experience (3-5 years of clinical pharmacy practice).
• BLS Certification.

Encouraged:

• Board Certification or intent to complete within 1 year of hire.
• Certified immunizer.
• ACLS Certification.
