Small-Medium Enterprise Business Developer, Base Customer
As a Small-Medium Enterprise Business Developer in the career transition services industry, your mission will be to deepen relationships with existing clients and identifying new opportunities to expand our LHH Career Transition and Mobility footprint. In this role, your responsibilities will also include proposals, delivering presentations, presenting annual and or quarterly business reviews, renewing existing contracts and negotiating new contracts.
Reporting Relationships:
- Reports directly to the Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) Market Segment Sales Leader
- Collaborates regularly in team selling with LHH colleagues, along with North America Adecco Group Sales and Customer Success Teams, as needed.
- No direct reports.
Location: United States (remote)
In this role you can expect to
- Cultivate and strengthen long-term partnerships with key clients.
- Lead strategic account planning, including quarterly and annual business reviews.
- Manage contract renewals and negotiate new agreements to ensure mutual value.
- Responsible for achieving or exceeding the territory revenue goals within the assigned market.
- Develop a pipeline of retain and expand opportunities, forecast revenue and profitability.
- Build and manage a qualified network of HR and Talent leaders in small to mid-sized companies.
- Responsible for RFP responses and contract negotiations in alignment with pricing and service guidelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, SDRs, and Client Partners to ensure seamless service execution
Sales Technology & Process Optimization
- Utilize Salesforce for lead tracking, opportunity management, and reporting.
- Apply tools like Outreach, SalesForce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong to optimize outreach and engagement.
- Use Salesforce to manage leads, opportunities, and client communications.
- Track and analyze engagement data to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling to HR, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations leaders.
- Proven track record in sales and new business development. Experience in workforce solutions, HR tech, or professional services preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce and sales automation tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesForce, Seismic).
- Skilled in using data enrichment tools (e.g., ZoomInfo) and conversation intelligence platforms (e.g., Gong).
- Comfortable with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and virtual selling environments.
- Strong digital communication and CRM hygiene practices.

- Strong digital communication skills across email, video conferencing, and CRM reporting.

- Total Target Compensation (Base salary + Uncapped Commission) range: $100,000 –$120,000/year (based on location and experience).
- Placement within this range is determined based on geographic location, experience, and other compensatory factors.
- Commission plan: quota-based performance measures the target incentive of 100% base customer billing upon the percentage of quota attainment. Performance will be measured annually, with incentives earned and paid out monthly.

Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis per year, Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
