Remote-first

Since March 2020, our Zoomers have worked remotely and reported an overall better work-life balance with more time for family and personal wellness.

At the end of 2021, LegalZoom made the official commitment to being a remote-first company. Remote-first means that there is no expectation that Zoomers come into an office for a fixed number of days outside of those employees identified as essential onsite workers. While we remain a remote-first culture, our local offices have evolved as collaboration spaces for Zoomers to meet and engage in person.

This position will be Remote.

Overview

We’re in an exciting period of growth and seeking a talented and passionate individual who shares our vision for helping fuel the success of small businesses as they use our suite of expert offerings (LZ Tax and our Business Advisory Plans). This role is for a creative individual who wants to help shape and build out the suite of expert collaboration capabilities that help our customers and experts (Accountants and Attorneys) effortlessly work together. We are looking for someone who has a ruthless attention to detail, a willingness to collaborate within a team environment, and enjoys the reality of ambiguity that comes with being a product manager.

You will

● Work closely with customers and LegalZoom experts to deeply understand their collaboration preferences and needs.

● Collaborate with design, engineering, operations, marketing, and analytics partners to translate these into experiences the team will deliver. You will lead the end-to-end success of these projects from discovery to launch.

●  Identify new opportunities to improve these experiences through a combination of quantitative analysis, qualitative research, and studying industry standard methodologies.

●  Prioritize the set of product initiatives you and the team will deliver while delivering for near-term deliverables and longer-term investments in technology platforms, all with a platform mindset

You have

●Minimum of 3+ years of product management experience; a combination of consumer-facing and expert-facing preferred

● Experience in navigating product scale challenges in a high growth environment inclusive of creating experiences that are shared across multiple customer personas

●Data-driven mindset with proven experience utilizing metrics & insights as tools for informed decision-making

●Fluent with software development practices and experience working closely with design and engineering teams during the full product lifecycle, including research, planning, implementation, launch, and post-launch learning

●Compelling storytelling and communication skills with the ability to adapt your style as you work with others up, down, and alongside you in the organization

●Have a learn fast, fail fast mindset, eager to change the status quo

LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($80,400- $172,200). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package. For onsite roles or roles that require periodic onsite visits, LegalZoom requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. LegalZoom will require proof of vaccination before a successful applicant’s first day of work, and will consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase (1) as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not LegalZoom undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others, or (2) for other reasons under applicable law.
