At the end of 2021, LegalZoom made the official commitment to being a remote-first company. Remote-first means that there is no expectation that Zoomers come into an office for a fixed number of days outside of those employees identified as essential onsite workers. While we remain a remote-first culture, our local offices have evolved as collaboration spaces for Zoomers to meet and engage in person.

The LegalZoom in-house brand and creative team produces live-action and animated videos, engaging digital and social content, compelling copy, world-class visual and web design, multichannel ad campaigns and much more.

We’re looking for a Senior Designer with impeccable design fundamentals, a strong portfolio of design projects, and an unparalleled ability to translate their point of view into an inspiring vision for partners and leaders across the company. You will use your design skills, devotion to craft, and passion for breakthrough work to lead our brand and marketing efforts into a modern new era focused on small businesses and the people who start them.

You will

  • Partner with the Director of Brand Design to develop new and modern work that pushes new brand standards and elevates the brand.
  • Contribute to the evolution of brand guidelines and maintenance of standards across channels.
  • Create high-quality brand execution for web, digital, social and print projects.
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Clearly communicate the rationale/POV for designs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Exhibit a high degree of ownership and accountability for assigned projects.

You have

  • B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design
  • Portfolio link on your resume
  • 3+ years in visual design, branding
  • Strong typography and composition skills
  • Attention to details
  • Pulse on design trends
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
  • Basic understanding of motion graphics
  • Remote Employees should confirm that the internet service available has adequate bandwidth to support all work processes.


LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is $94,500 to $162,000. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package. For onsite roles or roles that require periodic onsite visits, LegalZoom requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
