The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing HRIS data, supporting payroll, performance reviews, learning and development, and employee relations and retention while also improving existing policies and procedures within the team. The HR Generalist is a trusted advisor to the business, and champions of our company culture. What You Will Do
- Work closely with the Krakow team, providing organizational and employee focused advice while supporting a client group of primarily engineering and product employees and managers.
- Ensure proper maintenance of confidential employee information and record keeping; HRIS data entry, maintenance, tracking new hire data and retention information.
- Create and maintain site policies and services and manage policy change rollout to ensure business adoption and/or understanding of changes.
- Complete end-to-end payroll in collaboration with Finance each month for Employees and B2B contractors.
- Provide coaching and counsel to people managers on employee matters, including but not limited to performance management, workplace investigations, talent development, workplace culture, trust building and other HR best practices.
- Collaborate with management teams to identify and successfully address employee relations issues, including but not limited to drafting performance plans, employee warnings and resolution plans, and maintain records for compliance.
- Use your coaching and influence skills to drive employee engagement and manage change, ensuring that we retain motivated team members who deliver an excellent product and customer experience.
- Effectively respond to employee concerns and questions, escalating issues as needed and providing employees with knowledgeable answers and/or contact information to those who can provide employees with the answers and support they need.
- Own and partner with the Office Manager and management on New Hire Orientation and employee onboarding.
- Manage end-to-end and deploy small to medium scale HR projects and change initiatives in partnership with HR leaders.
- Support creation, implementation and training for HR programs, policies, and initiatives; partner with HR leaders to develop and implement communications plans.
- Remain updated on Human Resources trends and employment laws to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Cultivate a culture that emphasizes responsiveness, innovation, diversity and excellence.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations to improve processes, employee engagement and policy alignment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What We are Looking For
- At least 5+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- Experience as an HR Generalist or Specialist in a fast-paced Tech environment.
- Experience facilitating HR related training, maintaining compliance, and partnering with people managers to resolve employee issues.
- Experience managing small to medium scale projects.
- Advanced knowledge of local labor law.
- An engaging communication style with a knack for building relationships and the proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with management and employees at all levels.
- Action-oriented mentality, with ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handle adversity and frequent change, and balance workload and competing priorities.
