Remote-first

At the end of 2021, LegalZoom made the official commitment to being a remote-first company. Remote-first means that there is no expectation that Zoomers come into an office for a fixed number of days outside of those employees identified as essential onsite workers. While we remain a remote-first culture, our local offices have evolved as collaboration spaces for Zoomers to meet and engage in person.
This position will be (remote/or SF Bay Area, LA Metro, and Austin Metro office location/s).
Overview
LZ Legal Services, LLC (a LegalZoom Company) is looking for a dynamic Group Manager, Practice Enablement who will be responsible for deploying tools, processes and initiatives to enable the department to execute the core aspects of their job effectively. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiency, productivity, process improvement and skill development within our department. This role will have primary ownership and responsibility over developing enablement strategies, programs and tools across tools & technology, change management, training & development, and culture & engagement. This role will report into the Director, Business Insights & Practice Enablement and lead a small team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong operator with an eye for process improvement and detail. They will thrive in environments where they are building processes and initiatives from the ground up. They will also take pride in their role as a people manager and be fully invested in coaching and developing their team.
You will
● Own the development and execution of training and development strategy for new hires within department, in close partnership with attorney and fulfillment team subject matter experts
○ Develop and implement training programs to enhance employees' skills, product knowledge, and overall performance.
○ Create and oversee the development of training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, manuals, and other resources.
● Maintain department-wide Knowledge Base to ensure democratized access of critical training materials, policies and standard operating procedures to knowledge share across the practice
● Lead change management efforts for new and departing employees. Build a strategy and process to ensure employees receive comprehensive training and are smoothly integrated into the department
● Manage the tools and technology enablement processes within the department to support the team’s effort to quickly and easily troubleshoot issues and serve clients
● Own internal and external culture and engagement initiatives, including developing content and leading regular town halls and webinars, planning engagement activities and annual conferences, and department-wide communications. Key KPI is improving employee NPS and OSAT scores within the department.
● Lead a team of managers and senior managers, responsible for their personal and professional development and performance management
You have
● 7+ years of professional experience, ideally in strategy, operations, business enablement or program management
● 1+ years of people management experience
● Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, MBA preferred
● Experience in high-growth settings with a demonstrated ability to enable organizations to scale
● Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members and to influence the direction of others
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly frame options and recommendations, and inspire teams to action
● Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and other related tools
● Must be eligible to work in the US
LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($126,000 - $176,000). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
