Overview

The Platform team at LegalZoom design, build, deploy, and manages our large-scale software infrastructure. As an engineer on our team, you will combine your expertise and creativity to craft data-driven solutions with our team members. We thrive in the details, solving complex problems and iteratively improving the customer experience. You will join an inclusive team of diversely talented engineers covering all aspects of technology.

 

You will

  • Drive productivity by creating tools to empower products to decrease cycle time
  • Templatize repositories and build/deployment pipelines for automated cloud hosting
  • Maintain AWS hosting platform and security for EC2 / Kubernetes
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD practices
  • Maintain multiple interconnected AWS accounts, networks, and VPCs

 

You have

  • Experience working as a DevOps and/or Cloud Engineer, preferably in a mixed environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud Experience with AWS CDK, EC2, EKS, IAM, ALB, NLB, Lambda, Step Functions, and best practices around Networking, VPCs, CloudFormation, etc.,
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and containerization and experience with managing K8S clusters on cloud
  • Experience with one of the programming languages like Python and Typescript.
  • Experience with HashiCorp tools like Vault and Terraform or relevant secrets management.
  • Experience with Jenkins Pipelines.
  • Experience in APM monitoring platforms such as Datadog, AppDynamics, NewRelic
  • Experience working in a Linux and windows environment
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, work ethicexcellent communication, and interpersonal skills

LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($97,700 - $187,000). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
