This position will be located in our LA office.
Overview
The Regional Site Manager is responsible for managing our West Coast region of mail receiving, sorting, scanning, and shipping sites, including the remote office managers, assistant managers, subject matter experts, and employees. You will lead the team to consistently delight our customers through flawless execution of our virtual mail fulfillment services and you will promote a safe and inclusive office work environment. You will oversee the team dealing with millions of mail items received, sorted, and processed. As a valued leader, you will be a key contributor to executing critical strategic business initiatives.
You will
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative, personnel, and procedural activities within non-manufacturing operations at company site(s)
  • Manage and build high-performing teams across multiple mail processing offices, including the leadership and coaching of assistant managers and individual contributors
  • Lead efforts to develop and enhance operational efficiency through the implementation of integrated processes and common management services
  • Lead the execution and delivery of all targeted business plan metrics across output, productivity, quality, cost, safety and people
  • Monitor and track work progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes
  • Provide ongoing leadership and mentorship to staff with a focus on high employee engagement, morale, collaboration, and retention of high-performing staff
  • Maintain health and safety standards and promote a positive health and safety culture.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and identify efficiencies to increase productivity
  • Manage the labor planning process for the regional offices to ensure the optimal staffing is met in order to consistently deliver our output, throughput, and customer delight goals
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams, stakeholders, and personnel to promote transparency and alignment both inter-functional and cross functional
  • Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's values, policies, and procedures
You have
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in managing employees in an operations, manufacturing, production or office environment, with a proven track record of successfully leading an organization with 10+ employees
  • 3+ years of experience successfully managing direct and skip-level employees that also have people leadership responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to effectively lead teams that are dispersed across multiple geographies and timezones
  • Demonstrated experience leading performance review processes, performance management, and career development discussions
  • Experience developing and managing a high-performing, inclusive, and highly engaged team
  • Ability to create and manage an effective capacity and staffing model that addresses labor requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization from frontline employees to the executive leadership team
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Occasional travel as needed
 
LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($90,000 - $118,150). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
