Overview
Help build a modern E-Commerce platform that serves as the backbone for the entire company. This role has a direct impact on the company’s bottom line and works directly with many teams across the organization to improve the way subscriptions, payments, product catalog, and checkout work. Learn about how Dunning, 3DS, and payment gateways work while helping the team level up in terms of leveraging technical tools, design patterns, and cross-team communication.
You will
- Have the ability to lead (make proposals, produce faster turnarounds, take ownerships of initiatives they have defined)
- Level up the entire team then produce on their own. I.e build a tool for the entire team to use vs working in silo
- Be someone that knows how to build and execute on awesome software (architecture, execution, and design).
- Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Design, and other business partners.
- 60% coding / 40% (architecture, design, documentation, mentoring, scrum duties, meeting with partners).
You have
- Solid software design and architecture.
- Data structure and algorithms.
- Kotlin or other JVM based language experience. Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, NodeJS.
- Hibernate or other ORM experience. PostgreSQL / understanding of relational databases.
- Solid understanding of API / contract-driven development.
- Understanding of event driven architecture.
- Breadth and depth.
- ReSTful APIs, GRPC, Kafka, domain driven design, Tailwind, CSS, Remix, NoSQL, Kubernetes, Kustomize, Istios, containers, AWS S3, Lambda, Aurora, and CDK are nice to have.
LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($142,100 - $236,900). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
