Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Supply Chain team, the Senior Production Planner will focus on ensuring efficient production scheduling, optimizing inventory levels, and driving continuous improvements in planning processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at analyzing demand forecasts, managing supply chain constraints, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals.
About the Role:
- Maintain and optimize SAP planning systems, ensuring accurate data input for MRP and capacity planning.
- Implement and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to align inventory levels with production demands.
- Analyze production capacity constraints and develop strategic plans to maximize efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
- Generate detailed production schedules, ensuring timely availability of raw materials while balancing production workloads.
- Work closely with SIOP and supply chain teams to interpret demand signals and adjust planning strategies accordingly.
- Generate insightful reports and dashboards, providing leadership with visibility into production performance and planning effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; experience in lieu of education may be accepted
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. Expertise in SAP, with hands-on experience in MRP and capacity planning modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools is a plus. Familiarity with SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- APICS CPIM, or similar certifications
