Who we are looking for: 
Are you the Parent/Caregiver Peer Support we have been looking for? JRI's Flexible Support Services program aims to help youth and families by allowing for their voice to be heard, empowering them through psychoeducation and education related to systems, enhancing relationships and family dynamics, advocacy, validation, and breaking negative stereotypes. Serving children and young adults through age 22 with their families, who present with mental health diagnoses, our staff support clients in improving their functioning within the home and community to avoid potential hospitalizations. 
JRI provides the training so that:  
·       YOU will utilize the wisdom of your experiences to support the growth of caregivers/parents in ways that others can positively connect and learn from. 
·       YOU will work alongside Clinicians, Peer Mentors for youth, and Therapeutic Support Specialists to support the provision of culturally competent, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment. 
 
Bilingual a plus!! We offer a bilingual bonus to any candidate who speaks, reads and writes in a different language other than English that are needed in the local community.

Requirements: 
·       Applicants must be a caregiver/parent who has personal experience caring for and managing the needs of a youth with social emotional needs.  
·       Applicants must have experience within the child welfare/mental health system.  
·       Applicants must have a High School Diploma. Applicants with a Bachelor degree in a human services field are preferred. 
·       Applicant must be able to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications. 
·       Applicants must have access to reliable, insured vehicle and active driver’s license. 
·       Background and driving record checks will be performed.
