Are you the Per Diem Speech and Language Pathologist we have been looking for? In this position you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by working with our youth!

Bay Cove Academy is a small, therapeutic day school serving adolescents, ages 12-21, who have a wide range of serious emotional, and or learning difficulties. Our staff provide a highly structured, learning environment for teens whose educational and social needs exceed those which traditional public and private schools can accommodate. We provide education, career development, and clinical service. 

JRI provides the training so that:

  • YOU will utilize our innovative Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), a trauma informed response framework, to maintain structure within the classroom setting.
  • YOU will support students’ communication and social pragmatics skills, and provide services per the student’s Individualized Education Plan.
  • YOU will prepare engaging exercises and activities to use during individual speech sessions with students.
  • YOU will assist in collecting data, and establish and implement IEP goals and benchmarks.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist.
  • Candidates should have two years of relevant experience work with an adolescent population.
  • Candidates should have the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of researched based interventions.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
