Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is seeking a part-time (6-8hrs/week) Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for Littleton Academy, a 16-bed therapeutic residential school located in Littleton, MA.    

  

You will join a network of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners across several JRI programs and will be responsible for the trauma-informed psychiatric management of children, age 6-12, coping with emotional, behavioral, and attachment issues.       

    

You will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children and families, including:        

    

  • Complex diagnostic assessment       

  • Psychopharmacological management       

  • Parent guidance       

  • Team consultation       

  • Comprehensive treatment planning        

 Multidisciplinary team collaboration is integral to this position. Psychiatric services are provided on-site.        

There may also be additional child and adolescent psychiatry opportunities within JRI – up to 24hrs per week!

Requirements:       

  • Candidate must have prior experience working with latency-aged children who have acute or complex psychiatric presentations. 
  • Candidate must have completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from an accredited program. 
  • Candidate must be Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. 
  • Candidate must hold or be eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.
