Are you the Administrative Assistant we have been looking for? In this position you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by working with people in the community! 

JRI’s Health division offers a continuum of services to mitigate the social and health determinants, and address the well-being of underserved individuals and communities living with and at risk for HIV and HCV. Services incorporate state-of-the-art best practices and standards of care to ensure culturally competent psychosocial supports, effective case management, and housing, legal, and treatment resources. 

Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Salary: $18.00 per hour

JRI Provides The Training So That: 

  • YOU will provide primary administrative support to the Administrative Team and program staff. Mail handling, faxes and telephone calls, tracking food and gift cards, transportation vouchers. 
  • YOU will conduct orientations for new hires, including explanation of JRI policies and benefits. 
  • YOU will be responsible for data entry and manage database systems for services provided at the program. 
  • YOU will oversee maintenance of office equipment and supplies; order as needed. 
  • YOU will prepare and maintain accounts payable records, including filing and tracking invoices. 
  • YOU will be able to utilize and perform electronic data entry in medical records software. 
  • YOU will serve as the departmental Human Resources representative.

Requirements: 

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Candidates must have a High School Diploma. Candidates with a college degree are preferred. 
  • Applicant should be detail oriented and have exceptional organizational and communication, and relational skills. 
  • Candidates with experience in health or human services are preferred.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. 
  • Candidates must have the ability to use independent judgment and discretion and the ability to prioritize tasks.  
  • Applicant must have an active driver’s license and ability to be at work on time with some potential travel to corporate sites on an annual or quarterly basis required. 
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
