Justice Resource Institute (JRI), has been voted a Top Place to Work in Massachusetts for the ninth consecutive year, is one of the largest human services providers in the Commonwealth in addition to being the most programmatically diverse.  JRI is seeking a reliable and dynamic Program Director (PD) for its Metro Boston Community Based Services (Metro Boston CBS) program located in Jamaica Plain, MA.  JRI is looking for a PD who has demonstrated commitment to social justice. The PD will lead all program staff providing In-Home Therapy & Therapeutic Mentoring, Flexible Support and Hospital Diversion services. This person will also provide oversight and leadership to administrative, clinical, and community partnerships functions.   
    
Metro Boston CBS provides in-home and community-based clinical services to children, youth and families who have been impacted by trauma and adversity to re-establish a sense of safety and predictability in the world. Services are family-driven, youth-guided, strength-based, culturally and linguistically competent and responsive. Services are also individualized, informed by best practice and evidence based, and consistent with the research on sustained positive outcomes. In addition, we provide care to a diverse and robust community with a wide variety of racial, cultural, linguistic and ethnic backgrounds.    
    
Requirements:     
  • Master’s Degree with an Independent License in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling with experience working with children & families, with 2-3 years at a supervisor or management level and an eagerness to advance your personal leadership abilities. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively in both writing and verbally.
  • Proficient at using technology, including Microsoft Office, and other web-based tools. 
  • Understanding of various behavioral health treatment modalities for children and families. JRI has a commitment to trauma-informed care; often using the ARC framework and SMART interventions - training and certifications provided. 
  • A willingness to learn, manage, and organize programmatic details such as fiscal management, quality assurance and reporting, monitoring productivity and caseload assignment, developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with funders and state agency partners.  
  • An awareness of the needs and comfort in supervising and supporting a diverse workforce.
