Are you the Faith-Based Practitioner we are looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by leading a dynamic team and bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our youth!
The Merrimack Center, a DMH licensed and JCAHO accredited program, provides exceptional residential services for adolescents ages 13 to 18 with major mental illness, intellectual disabilities, autism and complex trauma histories. We provide comprehensive therapeutic care including an onsite special education school, full onsite clinical services, nursing staff, occupational therapy, and a 24 hour therapeutic milieu within a locked residential treatment program.
Salary: $25/hr
What You'll Do:
- We are seeking for someone who will be able to provide spiritual/faith guidance to diverse youth in an Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP)
- Coordinate with youth and families to develop spiritual care in conjunction with the program's interdisciplinary team.
- Provide spiritual counseling to youth during crisis intervention/bereavement time.
- Create a safe and exciting environment for kids with different spiritual backgrounds.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
- At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
